We provide quality music tuition at an affordable price in an informal and fun environment. We pride ourselves on being student focused (i.e. we do not follow a standard institutionalized curriculum). We are members of The Association of Irish Music Schools. We also receive endorsements from IMRO (Irish Music Rights Organisation), First Music Contact (FMC), Roland Corporation (Ireland) and MIDI (Musical Instruments Distribution Ireland). This provides us with an invaluable link to resources which we can use to enrich the knowledge of all of our students.
Our premises are also fully insured with CCTV fitted on the premises.
About our Tutors
All of our tutors are passionate about music – some have successful careers on the music circuit while others have studied and gained degrees in their chosen field. They are all committed to providing each student with the knowledge and understanding which can only be gained through years of experience whether it be playing or studying. Each Tutor also complies with The Code of Practice in relation to Child Protection.

Fees
One on One - per term €133 per term
Group Lessons - from €70 - fee depends on number of students taking part,
Payment must be made for the whole term prior to your first lesson. This is a non-refundable payment and we do not offer credit. Please make payment to Songschool Ltd. All payments received by Songschool will be issued with a receipt. We accept all major credit cards, laser, cheque and cash for payment.
Terms & Conditions
Enrolment
Enrolment for lessons and courses requires a completed enrolment form and full payment of tuition fees. Private Lessons: Although we schedule new students in order of enrolment and make every effort to suit student preferences, scheduling of private lessons will depend on available time slots with the most suitable teacher(s). Scheduling of Terms 2- 5 takes place no earlier than two weeks before the start of term. Group Lessons: Booking of group lessons cannot be confirmed until enrolment forms and tuition fees are received from all group members. Group Courses: Places in group courses are available on a first-come, first-served basis, based on date of enrolment.
Discounts
10% discounts (which cannot be compounded) are for 30-minute private lessons only and apply to OAPs, unemployed persons and third-level students with valid identification; and to additional lessons taken by a single student or lessons taken by additional students from the same family. Discounts do not apply to group lessons. Current students are eligible to 10% off selected items from Troy Horse Shop.
Withdrawal
No refunds will be made for individual lessons, courses or group lessons.
Please make sure that you can commit to attending for an entire term before you book and pay.
Cancellation
Songschool reserves the right to cancel any group course if there is not sufficient enrolment. In this event all tuition fees will be refunded.
Attendance Policy
Payment must be made for all lessons/classes, whether taken or missed. As a courtesy to the teacher, we ask that the school office be notified if a student is to be absent. If the teacher is unable to give a lesson/class, the student may be given the option of taking a make-up lesson with the student’s own teacher or taking the lesson with a substitute teacher. Lessons falling on bank holidays will be rescheduled to another day.
Termination
Songschool Ltd reserves the right to dismiss any student due to frequent absences, disciplinary reasons, overdue tuition payments and/or non-compliance with Songschool regulations.
